From Pipe Selection to Installation Guidance

A large-diameter pipeline is more than a pipe specification. Shunfang supports customers with technical consultation, product selection and installation guidance to help align the piping system with project requirements. Share your application, diameter, pressure or ring-stiffness requirement, quantity, drawings and delivery schedule; our team will review the information and recommend an appropriate solution.

Four review themes

Turn project inputs into an engineering conversation.

The ten enquiry fields are grouped into four practical themes. Each image supports the information beside it instead of turning the page into a gallery.

Chinese engineer reviewing a large-diameter pipeline site

Application & site context

Project location, conveyed medium, route conditions and installation environment establish the engineering context.

HDPE structured-wall pipe profile and dimensional detail

Dimensions & performance

Diameter basis, pipe length, pressure or ring stiffness determine the correct product review path.

Large HDPE pipe connection work in a trench

Connection & standards

Jointing preference, transitions and applicable standards shape the complete pipeline system.

Chinese engineers reviewing pipeline drawings

Drawings & delivery plan

Drawings, quantities and target dates help coordinate manufacturing, inspection and shipment.

Engineering FAQ

Preparing a productive technical review

Why are pressure and ring stiffness separate fields?

Pressure systems and gravity-flow structured-wall systems follow different selection inputs. Pressure requirements apply to pressure pipe; ring stiffness and burial conditions guide structured-wall pipe review.

Can Shunfang review an early-stage project?

Yes. Send the information currently available and identify what is still preliminary. The team can outline the next technical questions without treating website content as a final design.

When should on-site production be discussed?

For pipe projects above 3 metres in diameter, discuss site area, logistics, schedule and local conditions early so feasibility can be assessed.

Pullback installation planning

Long pipe strings, pulling forces, route geometry, equipment and connection sequence should be reviewed before trenchless installation.

Marine intake and outfall coordination

Marine projects require project-specific review of alignment, joining, towing, sinking, ballast and diffuser requirements.

Laboratory and quality control

Every batch leaves a record.

In-house samples and reports

Batch samples with written records before shipment release.

01 / Inspection step

Incoming material inspection

Resin and reinforcement batches are checked against quality indicators on arrival; incoming quantity, test quantity and results are logged.

02 / Inspection step

In-process sampling

Production batches are sampled during manufacturing, including weld-zone tensile checks across diameter groups.

03 / Inspection step

Pre-shipment release records

Each batch ships with written inspection records and approval signatures from the quality team.
